Monday March 17th

off to LA and Universal Studios…..

First, I want to tell you about the hotel we stayed in. I decided to skip the immense Hilton which is close to the park and instead opted for the Garland Hotel. The hotel is lovely. The rooms were spacious. It was still a bit chilly in LA and the roaring fire in the lobby was delightful. And the restaurant, the Front Yard served great meals. The heated pool occupied by grandson in the few hours we were not at Universal. I highly recommend.

I packed light and brought layers. This Frank & Eileen jacket was perfect.
