For the last 30 years I have made glass beads and art jewelry. While I don’t sell my work anymore, I still consider myself a glass and jewelry artist. I love going out to my studio to create and sometimes to just think about the journey this passion has taken me on. I count myself blessed.
My art studio isn't just a room; it's my creative sanctuary, a space where ideas blossom and transform into tangible art. It's a place where I can lose myself in the process of creation, free from the demands of everyday life.
Studio Saturday is musing about my life as a jewelry artist. I’ll talk about my creations, the inspiration, and some behind the scenes info of what happens to actually make the beads and then the jewelry. This is also where I will be offering VERY limited editions of new work.
I hope you enjoy this new series of musings………
Designing
Today I am going to send you over to my website so you can read the latest blog about designing a piece.
Different elements of design—color, shape, texture, contrast, and movement—can be combined to create a unique and aesthetically pleasing composition. It doesn’t just happen in a flash. It takes time and thought and even then it always doesn’t come out right. Click the image to read about the design of this pendant
Thanks for being here.
I hope you leave a comment.
