This week I mainly stayed at home. I was taking an online jewelry class so basically sitting in front of the computer a lot. Blue seemed to be the color of choice this week. This top is a very old cotton knit from Eileen Fisher. I love the color, but also the texture. It is a waffle knit, and I am really drawn to this weave. I think it adds a lot of interest to an outfit and the pants and t-shirt “look” is elevated. This year I have not seen a lot of this weave on the market. Crocheted airy knits seem to be in vogue.
I like this look and even purchased a similar one, but you have to wear a cami underneath. At least I do or I feel too exposed. So, this top is a little harder for me to style. I do think this particular sweater would look smashing with white pants.
Speaking of waffle knits, I think I just found a sweater I plan to knit. Will be perfect for our fall. Let me know what you think.
