Have you ever used Google Lens to find something? I have used it several times with great success. Last year we were on a fantastic trip to the Canadian Rockies. We like to travel with Tauck. They do such a fantastic job. Always interesting places, very personable and knowledgeable guides and experiences at venues not readily accessible to the public. Anyway we ended our Canadian Rockies tour with a cocktail party in Banff at the exquisite Rundle Bar in the Fairmont Hotel . The walls are adorned with hundreds of photos of actors and actresses that have visited there. So we all tried our hand at identifying who they were. And Google Lens came in really handy on a few. Lots of movies over the years were shot in Banff National Park. One of my favorites shot there is The Edge with Alec Baldwin and Anthony Hopkins.
Anyway another cool thing about Google Lens is that you can use it to search for someone who looks like you - your doppleganger…. Unfortunately it didn’t find anyone who looks like me. But I do have a namesake.
I have Google Alerts turned on for my name and information regarding the mother of Malcom X comes up repeatedly.
A few posts ago, I talked about the first necklace I made which was a lariat necklace with fringe stitched with the Ndebele stitch. I got a few requests for a pattern so if you so desire to stitch one yourself click the image to get the pattern. If you desire to use the same vintage seed beads I used I have 2 hanks left which I can send you. Leave me a comment for the particulars.
Here’s what I’m reading now…..
Again thanks for reading …. louise xxxooo
